Tirumali Tirupathi Devastanam has agreed to provide us with blessed idols of Lord Balaji and Goddess Lakshmi by August of 2008. We hope to have a full-time priest to perform daily poojas and we are planning to convert the existing house as a priest quarters once we have a permanent temple constructed. Hindu Mandir & Cultural Center’s Board of Trustees has been diligently working towards bringing a place of worship and a center of religious/cultural learning at Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The vision of the Hindu Mandir & Cultural Center is to enhance the religious experience for all in our diverse congregational community. The temple will enhance and expand programs in education, youth & adult activities and services to the community.
