The Temple of heaven is one of the most amazing temples across Asia. Believed to be built in the 14th century by the Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty, the temple is situated in Beijing, the capital city of China. Emperor Yongle, who also built the Forbidden City, used to come to this temple and pray for China's good harvest and to forgive the sins of people. This tradition is still continued. The architecture is unique in many ways. Everything that represents heaven is circular in shape, while everything that represents earth, that is the floor, is square in shape.
